A word to my wonderful clients,

We are writing you today with exciting news! Balance Salon is continuing its unique commitment to personalized consultations and leading-edge salon services as it continues to grow. We appreciate your partnership in that growth and hope you will join us as we begin a new chapter in the Balance Salon journey.    

Balance Salon is able to offer a specialized and unrivaled level of service to its clients as a result of its focus on building trusting relationships with you. This is due in large part to the incomparable culture we have created internally.  

Balance Salon has partners… not employees. Each service provider is a future shareholder and as such is committed to the ideals of the organization. We select team members who want to build a career, not just hold a job. Not only are they professionally skilled artisans and stylists, but independently competent business leaders. This commitment to our staff cultivates an  uncommon experience for both the team members and you our valued client. 

In order to continue strengthening what makes Balance Salon so special, the leadership team must adapt and grow along with the business. We are excited to share this next phase of growth with you!

Beginning September 1st the salon owners, CJ Nicotera and Amy Horne, will increase their time leading the team and developing the staff so that you will continue to receive the superlative service and tailored solutions you have come to expect. As a result, the hours CJ and Amy are available to directly serve clients will change.

Amy and  CJ’s new hours and rates are accessible via our website and we hope they will continue to be your primary stylists, should their new schedules align with yours. If you choose to change to another Balance service provider, we would highly recommend any of our team members. You can learn more about all of our team members on our website. In addition, we’d like to take the opportunity to highlight two team members now: 

Nesli Yavunca’s

artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail allow her to come up with styles individualized to the client's needs . This is just one reason she has been CJ’s personal stylist for the past several years. Nesli is one of Europe’s top artists and you will love being spoiled by her.

 Jessica Goldstein’s

inspiring and trendsetting visions will lead you to believe you are talking directly with the editor of the best stylist magazine. She provides you with the latest in  techniques and styles, balanced with the best look for you. Look for Jessica to appear in a hair-related reality show… if they ever create one. She is always “in-the-know” about all that is emerging in Hollywood.

Balance Salon's Education Artistic Director and Salon owner for over 12 years.

-Through her role as a hair artist for over 23 years (17 years in Atlanta and 6 years in her native New York) the hair and fashion industry still inspires her every day. Her back ground comes from the teachings of Aveda and their wonderful concept of customer service and natural products. “I have had such an awesome journey with Aveda, and their wonderful high-end salons and education”. As CJ has grown, Redken and PureOlogy have taken her to the next level, along with the partnership with Aveda and the guidance of Summit Salon business consultants, Aveda PurePro Business College, Loreal Strickly Business Institute and Life Long Leadership Consulting.
